Military Grants, Awards & Financial Aid

Did you know that members of the military are entitled to exclusive benefits, including eligibility for state and federal aid? In addition to applying for federal aid via the FAFSA, Alfred University strongly encourages you to consider applying for additional financial assistance through the sources listed below. Step-by-step application instructions are provided.

Financial Assistance Resources For Veteran Students

The Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires educational institutions to make certain disclosures to students using federal military and/or VA educational benefits. To view and print a copy of an estimated personalized cost of attendance you can visit AU Net Price Calculator. Additional financial information can be found at the NCES College Navigator site.

The NYS Award Information Sheet will provide a more in-depth analysis and accurate picture of student cost once the student has filed their FAFSA, completed an admissions application, and has been accepted by Alfred University. This award sheet can be found in BannerWeb, under financial aid tab.
